I would like to use Structolite to plaster interior walls. Since this is new construction is there a Gypsum product on the market that can be used that the structolite would receive? |

| #2 | Yes there are many products that can be used. Some are as follows USG Diamond finish . Slacked Lime, Gauging plaster and moulding plaster mixed at a rate of 65% lime - 30% Guaging - 5% moulding. Also you could use the Master of Plaster one base coat and a coat of finish. There are many others products on the market that could be used. |

| #3 | In 2 rooms in my house (1830s), I replaced ugly amateur drywall with plaster walls built with Structolite. The first time I did this, I used wood lath and the second time metal lath, but both times I used Master of Plaster (base then finish) as the top coats over the Structolite. Both came out great.
As Clarence noted, there are commercial finish plasters out there (inlcuding USG products), but the MOP is so easy to use especially if you aren't a seasoned plastering pro yet. |

Jim is correct on the use of Master of Plaster if you are not experienced in the plaster trade it would be the be the most user friendly product it would not require any mixing and any unused material will keep indefinitely as long as it is cover with a little water to keep it damp.I have used truck loads of this material with no problems. |
